TISLR 14 invites unpublished research from any theoretical perspective that addresses sign languages. Keynote presentations, organized sessions, and poster sessions will be included on such topics as:
The program will have no parallel sessions. We plan to have approx. 30 signed/spoken presentations (20 minutes and 10 minutes discussion) and three poster sessions.
Abstracts can be submitted in one of the following languages: Japanese Sign Language, American Sign Language, International Sign and English. Please note that the abstracts must not be anonymized. Written abstracts should include the name(s) of the author(s) following the title. Signed abstracts should start with the name(s) of the author(s). The written abstract must not be longer than two pages (including tables, examples, and references), in 12-point type, single-line spacing and 2.5 cm margins. The signed abstract must not be significantly longer than 5 minutes. There is a maximum of 3 submissions per author, either as single author or joint co-author.

The Five Minute SIGNopsis is a contest at TISLR 14 during which 10 selected junior sign language linguists will present their research in a concise, informative, and engaging way. Each presenter will prepare a five-minute video in which they introduce a topic of their choosing in a lively, accessible manner using any visual aids they deem helpful. The presentations should be directed at a lay audience and should present an interesting piece of data, exciting new ideas, new takes on existing theories and/or linguistic-related engagements in Deaf communities.
Ph.D. students and Early Career Researchers (up to 5 years after their degree) are highly encouraged to submit an abstract. The abstract is to be prepared in any sign language with English captions. Please note that the abstracts must not be anonymized. Written abstracts should include the name(s) of the author(s) following the title. Signed abstracts should start with the name(s) of the author(s). The abstract must not be longer than 500 words or a 3-minute video. The word limit does NOT include the reference list.

TISLR 14では、理論的観点から手話を扱う未発表の研究を募集します。基調講演・研究発表・ポスター発表では、以下のようなトピックを含みます。
パラレルセッションはありません。計30件ほどの手話・口頭での発表（20分の発表、10分のディスカッション）と、期間中３回のポスターセッションを予定しています。
発表要旨は、日本手話・アメリカ手話・国際手話・英語のいずれかの言語で投稿が可能です。 匿名の要旨は受け付けられませんのでご注意下さい。 書面による要旨は、題名の後に発表者名を記載してください。手話動画の要旨の場合は、冒頭で発表者名を述べてください。 書面による発表要旨は2ページ以内（図表・例・参考文献含む）で、文字サイズは１２ポイント、シングルスペースで、上下左右の余白は2.5 cmで作成してください。 手話動画による要旨の場合は、5分を大幅に超えない長さで作成してください。発表者１名につき、単著・共著に関わらず応募は3件までとします。

5 Minutes SIGNopsisは、TISLR 14で行われるコンテストです。 事前審査で選ばれた10人の若手研究者が自分が行っている手話研究を、短い時間で聴衆の参考になる形でアピールします。 発表者は各自が選んだトピックを、効果的なビジュアルを用いて、生き生きとわかりやすく紹介するための5分間の動画を作成します。 興味深いデータ・聴衆の期待が高まるような新しいアイデア・既存の理論の新しい解釈など、ろうコミュニティに関わる言語学関連の活動を一般聴衆に紹介する発表が対象となります。
博士課程の大学院生およびキャリア初期の研究者（学位取得後5年以内）は、ぜひ参加してください。 要旨は任意の手話で作成し、英語字幕をつけてください。匿名の要旨は受け付けられませんのでご注意下さい。 書面による要旨は、題名の後に発表者名を記載してください。手話動画の要旨の場合は、冒頭で発表者名を述べてください。 書面による発表要旨は本文５００字以内（参考文献は字数に含まない）で、手話動画による要旨の場合は、３分を超えない長さで作成してください。
