Henry Dyer(1848-1918), the first principal of the Imperial College of Engineering in Tokyo from 1873 to 1882 was an engineer and educator in 19th century Japan. He had graduated in engineering from the University of Glasgow. Youzo Yamao(1837-1917), the Acting Vice-Minister of Public Works was a student in the evening class of Anderson's College in Glassgow, when Dyer was learning too. Masamitu Kawakami(1912-1996), the first principal of The Technological University of Nagaoka from 1978 to 1983. He proposed a new technological education and founded the Technological University for the College of Technology in Japan. In this study, we describe to relation of their ambition, "Genshi-Roku", "Engineering Thought", "Technological Education" and "The Imperial College of Engineering in Japan".
