In this paper, we report engineering education through robot-making in Osaka Prefectural College of Technology. The reason why robot-making was selected in that it is concrete and easy for the students to understand. In 2001, the theme at first school year was "Street Performance Robots". Students made mechanism using junk. From 1994 to 2007, the curriculum "Case study on Design of Mechatronics Systems" at fourth grade was a contest of autonomous robots. Through this curriculum, many educational advantage were obtained. At Graduation Research and Engineerings Thesis Work, students have product development through teaching materials for robot. We use the materials because of the class and workshop.
